Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we hear most.
Organization → Site → Building → Floor → Area → Device. Each level lives inside its parent and can't be skipped.
Yes, but deletion cascades to children. Sites, buildings, floors, and areas can be soft-deleted by Owners. Devices are retired (not deleted) to preserve the audit trail.
Owners and Managers assign roles from Organization → Users. Roles take effect on the user's next sign-in.
Yes — a site is a physical location and can include any number of buildings, each with their own floors and areas.
Full members, Managers, and Owners. Field members and Viewers can be assigned to sites but can't create them.
