Seat types
OneSurvey uses three member seats plus elevated admin roles.
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Viewer | Read sites, surveys, reports. No edits. |
| Field | Capture photos, complete assignments, edit elements on assigned sites. |
| Full | Create sites, build surveys, manage tickets across the org. |
| Manager | All Full + invite users, manage clients. |
| Owner | All Manager + billing, audit logs, organization settings. |
How access is granted
- Org-wide roles are set on the Users page.
- Site-level access can be scoped by client or assignment.
- Vendors can be invited as time-limited external users.
Best practice
Give people the minimum role they need. Promote them later when the work demands it — it's safer than over-granting up front.
